Cuidad de Los Angeles

This project was about helping orphans from and orphanage in Tijuana named Cuidad de Los Angeles. Since it's getting close to christmas time our class decided to make the kids a gift and a card. The gift had to be hand made and we were all assigned our own child. Our deadline was by a Friday so then we could turn in the gifts on a Sunday.

PROJECT INTRODUCTION

Ms. Soler Started off this project by making us do fun activities. The first day we watched a movie, and she brought snacks. The next day we had little stations. There was like the coloring station the reading station, the dress up station, and etc. We also went outside to blow bubbles and to play fun games out on the grass field. The reason she made us do that was to show us that even these little things made us smile. It proves that anything can make a kid smile it doesnt even have to be big. It can be just a coloring book and it would make them smile.

MY ASSIGNED KID

In class Ms. Soler had told us we were each going to get our own kid. She told us we all had to choose randomly from a bowl. If we wanted to switch we would have to find someone that would want to switch. I ended up getting a kid named Armando, he is 14 years old.
